Dear praying Friends and Family!
First off, thank you for praying for us, we really appreciate it!
We praise the Lord for providing funds to get the repairs started. We hope and pray that the repairs, especially a part of the roof, will be completed withing the next 7-8 days, so that we can have the kid’s Christmas “party” there. The weather is to bring a lot of rain during the next 10 days…
The island is being currently plagued with many power outages, and our generator is currently not working and needs repairing.
On a different note, please pray for Karen’s brother Kevin Engle’s wife Cheryl, as she is not doing good. She has stage 4 cancer, and has been hospitalized to be treated for pneumonia. We do not know of any prognosis as of now…

Update Nov.24th, 2025
Dear praying Friends and Family!
We had some problems with the internet here on the island, and apologize for the late update. Our arrival was about a week ago, and we thank the Lord for His travel mercies.
We found that there is still much devastation everywhere on the island, and we are trying to obtain estimates for the repairs of the ministry building. It needs new rafters and a new roof. Some of the concrete structure also has to be repaired. There are several options for the rebuilding of the roof, and we are looking to the Lord for all of this.
Please continue to pray for the following:
♦ the repair of the ministry building
♦ the Bible Verse Memory Club, as we are trying to plan one within the next weeks
♦ the King of Glory Movie in Tagalog and its distribution throughout the Philippines
♦ the continued effort to share the Gospel with folks, here and abroad
Also, we would like to wish you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Prayer Request Sept. 24th, 2025 Typhoon!
Dear praying Friends and Family!
On September 24th, Typhoon “Opong” made landfall over Samar to the east of our island. A few hours later the eye was over the Romblon county. Winds with speeds of over 150mph pommeled & ravaged the entire island of Romblon. No lives were lost on the island, Praise the Lord!
Then on September 25th, we finally heard from our friend Lani, who is watching our house.
The report she sent us is not good.
Many houses in our village have been damaged or destroyed, the roof of our kid’s club building has collapsed…no electricity on the entire island, as many poles are down. Many landslides. One of our friend’s restaurants just gone!
