Dear praying Friends and Family!<\/strong><\/p>\n

O<\/strong>n September 24th, Typhoon “Opong” made landfall over Samar to the east of our island.\u00a0 A few hours later the eye was over the Romblon county.\u00a0 Winds with speeds of over 150mph pommeled & ravaged the entire island of Romblon.\u00a0 No lives were lost on the\u00a0 island, Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n

\n

T<\/strong>hen on September 25th, we finally heard from our friend Lani, who is watching our house.<\/p>\n

The report she sent us is not good.<\/strong><\/p>\n

M<\/strong>any houses in our village have been damaged or destroyed, the roof of our kid\u2019s club building has collapsed…no electricity on the entire island, as many poles are down.\u00a0 Many landslides.\u00a0 One of our friend’s restaurants\u00a0just gone!<\/p>\n
